...So, I was having this discussion with and we both decided to do some BlazBlue fanart. I won, mine is finished first!! Well, I guess it helps that he hasn't even started his yet. Go go go!!Rachel Alucard, vampire girl from BlazBlue who seems to be the only character to know what the heck's going on. Even I don't know what the heck is going on in BlazBlue! And I've read the wiki from back to front!!
Painter X because I wanted practice with painter. Yeah, I know I left out the rest of the umbrella. Base sketch done in Manga Studio, some cleanup in Adobe Photoshop CS3.

Many people won't notice, but she is clearly a young version of Rozaline from Disgaea 2 - she is vampire too, she dress identical and she has a comic relief pet too.

How do you like painter? I'm starting to look at alternatives to photoshop for coloring comics.

I'm learning it right now. I'm in the noob phase where everything takes way too long! But I prefer the colour blend method in painter to photoshop, it's lovely and subtle. Not sure how it would go colouring comics though - the tools in photoshop are faster and easier to learn.
