I really like this picture. I get so many things from this, almost like layered symbolism. First, there's a gate, obviously barring. Past it, you see a bike, a mode of transportation down the path just behind it. The road is surrounded by nature, but in the background, you can see that it slowly fades into city. Perhaps this picture is suggesting that progress down any path can have many forms? Also, the sky is lit, but also cloudy; it's dark and light at the same time. I believe this may represent the dark and light sides of change and the overall tones of one's own life path. Finally my eyes are drawn to the single man walking down the road. He's walking away from the city, toward the gate. I think this represents crossroads, as if the path you're about to embark on has already been tread upon, but with slight differences. Perhaps he isn't so lonely after all?
Anyway, I really like this picture. Good job ^^

It is a great photo and I really like it, but because of the lack of quality in some aspects, in my opinion, it doesn't deserve a DD.
I am quite amazed how the DD system has changed lately.
Nice touch with the B/W, keep it up.

Great photo! I have different feelings when I look at it. It can symbolize loneliness but the dark clouds also symbolize 'danger'. It can also be that the man in the pic is running away from something. But on the other hand; the pic is also kinda peacefull.
