And the house lights come up

They walked out of my theater doors

Became to harsh
When old memories they tried to forget
                Returned

Even when my words
Cut deep into your heart
When old memories returned

                Fell
Like rain
Even when everyone else
Left my performance
                My life

Till the very end
And stood
And clapped
