Description
With the reveal of Super Mario Odyssey's capture mechanic, the TF TG community, or whatever it's called, has wasted no time in exploiting it, letting Mario possess everything from the ladies of the Mario series, or characters from other games shown off at E3. To me, though, Mario seems like way too much of a good guy to think about doing something like that.And so, here's my take on the whole shebang. While Mario himself doesn't particularly like it, Cappy has no qualms with trying to get him to ease up a bit and have some fun. And since Treehouse Live revealed that a second player can control Cappy independently from Mario, we could have Cappy flying off to land of someone's head, forcing Mario to possess them (granted, I don't know if the second player can actually do that or not, but hey, artistic liberties). Of course, once the game actually releases, Cappy's probably going to end up having a personality that's nothing like this, but oh well, he hasn't been in as many games as Mario has.
I have no idea how I managed to draw this in less than a day, when the Puyo Puyo drawing took me two.

Well, I don't have a drawing tablet, and I prefer PAA's tools to Art Academy Sketchpad, so it works just fine for me now that I'm used to drawing on a screen that small.

That is going to be pretty fun using that ability and my guess you will be able to processΒ females in the game. Sadly you can't do much with them since it is a kids' game, but still fun idea.

To be honest, I kinda doubt we'll be possessing any females, unless there's a particularly feminine looking enemy. All the important NPCs or enemies, like Pauline or Harriet, and even all the generic NPCs, like the people of New Donk City, are all wearing hats, specifically because Mario can't possess someone if they already have a hat on (hence why I specifically mentioned in the drawing that Pauline was taking her hat off). The only generic NPC we've seen without a hat that Mario can possess is male, and is probably only there because of a very specific mission he needs to be used for.

Well, yeah, that was the intention. With all the fanart floating around of Mario seemingly willingly possessing various women, I decided to give my own take on a similar scenario, with Mario not wanting to do it, but Cappy trying to convince him to do it.
