Latelatelate submission for ~KlakKlak 's adoptable contest! It's been sitting on my to-do for a while and I finally knuckled through. I tried something new, both with content (a quadriped!) and with technique.

Anyway I saw the owldog, and I was reminded of a character I already had but not designed. I struggled a lot trying to come up with a sequence that conveyed his personality and situation and didn't really come up with anything I was happy with. But here we go.

His name is a complicated situation, but his friends call him Ryve and he is a normally human shapeshifter. He's pretty awkward and over-serious most of the time, but is excellent in a crisis, especially if his semi-psychotic little brother is somehow involved. His whole family is a little psychotic and as a relatively un-psychotic individual, he's the black sheep. Incidentally, he's a recent runaway and has been off having fantastic adventures with a ragtag group of misfits.

As a side note, he could very easily take human form to open the door, but then he would be naked and he would really rather avoid being naked in public.

I wasn't sure if I wanted the "sound" to be intelligible (hence the random characters for the commotion indoors), but I also wanted to show the noise Ryve's owldog makes, because I imagine him to be extremely vocal and to make bird-like noises that are odd coming from a dog-like creature.

Sorry if it's a little sloppy-looking, like I said, trying new things.
