Yes. <3

How's your semester been going btw? Haven't heard anything from you for a while so I assume it's busy. But you still have time to art! Yay! I am sad that I didn't get the chance to see you before classes started

Bwup yeah I'm crazy busy (I actually found this in some folder on my desktop, it's old... have been sketching, though!). Though that might be warped opinion since I just finished my first exam (why yes it is the third week of school sure thing Jon I do feel like spending 4 hours on a test fantastic). I think I have more time to communicate though. I'll write you a letter. Indeed. I wish we'd gotten to hang out more, but that's prettymuch a perpetual fact of life (I just wanna be with frieeeendssss). It looks like Thailand was awesome, though! I think I saw some photos.

How goes with you?

It's good to still hear from you though! I will be equally busy soon enough, but I am enjoying the last few days of true summer before we move back up to Davis on the 20th. *Yay letters*

Thailand was amazing though - all the photos are up on Facebook (there's an album in my photos if you want to look at them). I met a ton of really awesome people and got to work with the elephants and the dogs over there. We are actually going to start fundraising to buy one of the elephants some custom boots for her feet - I am writing a journal about all them now so hopefully I will post it to DA in a few days. . I'm waiting to get a price estimate on the boots so I can set up a kickstarter for it and sell some art - elephants are fun to draw but they have super weird anatomy stuff going on <.<

Anyway. . That's what's going on with me. I finished Hannibal in Thailand and OMFG please do yourself a favor and never read that book. I also started American Gods. . And I'm about half way through it now. Still don't know what I think about it yet. There are aspects that I really like and some things about it that really bother me but I am holding out until the end before I form any concrete opinions. :U

Two more daysss. Are you trying to cram anything in last-minute? I'm definitely following your Thailand adventures as closely as I can without being creepy. (Incidentally wow fuck Thai tourism everything is awful.)

"Never read that book" because it's an awful book or because everything is awful and it makes life awful? I think American Gods pulls together in the end, though there are defs some really weird bits (also: hey, have we ever both read the same book I'm not sure we have??).

I'm in too many classes and too many clubs.

(no one is surprised by this)

I am trying to finish one more art piece (the elephant) since I promised everyone I would make some art to help fundraise for one of the elephants at the park. Other than that, I just have to pack up all my stuff and do some shopping for the new place.

No. Don't read Hannibal because it was terrible. The writing fell apart and the plot just fucked itself to the final circle of hell. There's nothing I hate more than books which fall apart. >:/ But American Gods is much better, I can say that at least. I am waiting to get to the end because I am sure some interesting stuff will happen. And I do love some of the little lines written in about belief/ideas.

Anya you are and will always be an over achiever. And I will forever love you for it! Keep being awesome <33
