What's the name of the app?

The app is called Glitch! And it's on the play store. I'm not sure about Apple store but I would assume it's there

What is your secret for drawing clothes?
There has to be some sort of sorcery behind it.

I like to use multi-media in my Gorillaz style drawings to replicate the style of Jamie Hewlett. The skirt is hand drawn, but the shirt is actually a photograph of a real shirt. Man, I wish I could draw clothes that well, you flatter me, really ^^''

Ah, ok.
How do you incorporate the photographs into your pictures? Do you first get the basic drawing and then try getting a fitting photograph or do you take a photograph and build the picture around it?
It all looks so organic!

usually I look on shopping sites for inspiration, usually cute clothing sites likeΒ kogiketsu.com/ andΒ himi.storenvy.com/products and if I see something I like, I look at the way the clothes are angled and the pose and stuff and see if I can think of some way to incorporate that into a drawing of my own so yeah I guess I get the image first and then draw the character around it!
