The serpentine creatures (or are they horns?) coming out the back of his head remind me of the tale of the Arabian Zahhak who was kissed by the god of evil Ahriman on the shoulders, and where he was kissed snakes grew, one on each shoulder, which had to be fed human brains every day lest they get hungry and eat Zahhak's own.

Excellent work as usual, it's nice to see someone taking the road less travelled when it comes to demons. I like the way you've used subtle blurring of the figures around him to simultaneously suggest rapid motion, while at the same time focusing attention on the big guy. Any plans for this picture?

Might I suggest posting a sample or two in the Freelancer's Forums over at [link] when you have a moment? I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't get an offer or two there for licensing it. I'm not a fantasy person myself, and don't have the money at the moment anyway, else I'd probably make you an offer myself.
