History
The Witherow family have grown and remained on the isle of Oldhaven since the beginning of the line. Through the generations, the Witherows had made a relatively easy living-- off the dead. After all, what's more job security than the fact everyone inevitably dies? Young and old, rich and poor, the family has handled everyone with the respect and dignity regardless of who they were. Given the families long, upheld family business, it's no surprise that Elliott too continued the line, and he knows himself dedicated to helping those who are hurt by the ever looming Death... but he does find himself wanting something a little more.

After all, there's dragons and other beasties out there, and uncharted lands where law permitted no one venture.
Or perhaps at the very least moving the business to a new town that isn't more of the same.

His parents have mixed feelings on his starry-eyed wanderlust. Being their only child, they pushed for him to settle down, find a family- and more importantly, continue the business. But considering he's beginning to crawl towards his 30s and have yet to ventured off, neither are entirely willing to put their foot down over something they consider simple dreams without a drive to make it anything more.
