Description EDIT: Shading get! Tried some new techniques here... It's interesting, but I want to practice with it a little more.

It's my first SDL duel: Gavroche versus the twins Darius and Morrow!

"Having found himself lost in Japan, Gavroche begins exploring town while doing what he does best (namely pickpocketing). While tailing a promising-looking girl, the frenchie runs into two other boys planning to rob her, and promptly start arguing over the bag of coins.

Hearing the ruckus behind her, the girl orders her bodyguard to break up the miniature brawl and retrieve the purse. While the young yojimbo is able to catch one of the three, he is utterly lost when it comes to separating the others.

During all of this hubub Gavroche manages to come out on top, holding Darius to the ground with the prize clenched victoriously in his teeth. Meanwhile, some bystanders have taken notice and are looking on with curiosity and/or shock..."

Well, taking into account my opponent's entry I doubt I'll win, but it was a lot of fun thinking about how to plan this image, not to mention attempting both action poses and distancing the characters. ((I DO know where I've made errors so please, no critique. Time to look at that anatomy book...))

Also, cameos! I didn't realize until I had almost finished sketching it out, but all the "adult" characters have alliterative names... Whoops!

Gavroche created by me
Morrow and Darius created by *conartist18
Clarice and Kuraima created by *Unknown-person
Kurou created by ~ketsuo
Kurori created by ~TheCrowchan

See, what did I tell you? Awesome alliteration!

And the whole idea of SDL belongs to *RoninsUltramix

I let them find them by themselves most of the time. The only person I like showing my art to is my sibling.

Hehe!! I like it! I find it difficult to draw a bunch of people in one picture but you did a nice job of it! Can't wait for the shaded version! XD
