Yey for Claymore xDDDThis photo was taken at Aninite '11 in Vienna (Austria).
I love my friends so much for doing Claymore together with me.
It was a pain to design some parts of our cosplays 3 times xDDD but it was worth it

how did you manage to make the swords? they are very lovely but also look heavy as mess. your costumes are fantastic as well keep the good work

ah i forgot the modeling clay and for the "tsuba" sorry don't know the right word for it I used my papercraft skills

they are made out of cardboard, a woodenstick, hot glue, wood glue, red paint for the symbol, and black spray. It had around 1-2 kilos I think, but it wasn't that heavy

The costumes look pretty good. I wish you provided a bigger pic so I could look at each better but over all they appear to be pretty accurate to the manga... the capes appear to be hanging a bit low on some of the cosplayers and Irene's Claymore doesn't look as good as the rest (Lighting? an Effect of seeing the backside of it?)... The boots look too much like real boots painted metallic but it's had to find cheap armor anymore so it's forgivable
Finally, thanks for the laugh... seeing 4 claymores sitting on a bench seemingly waiting for a bus or something just made my day. Too bad there was no scared villagers or non cosplayers giving you weird looks... I think it really would have added to the pic... or a bus stop sign (that too would have been really funny)... I'm tired atm... sorry if I sound weird with my sense of humor

Haha and I just have a huge interest in characters with scars, masks or anything else on the right or left eye
