Dewberry walked out of the Camp when her cramps started. She didn't wanted to give birth in the Medicine Den, she had too many unhappy memories there.
No, she wanted to give birth outside the Camp so her kits would see the beautiful territory when they were born. She nested herself in a place where no wind could reach her and her kittens. As she started to go into labour and the pain intensified she felt pressure build up and then eb away. This was when her first kitten was born, Rookkit. After Rookkit Bumblekit was born and Hedgekit. Just when she tought she had had al her kittens another contraction made clear she wasn't. The last kit that was born she named Stallionkit, after her mentor and friend Stallionstar.
