Wow this is really cool, but I don't see why she has hair, she is a reptile after all. But good job you draw really well!

Yes, she is a lizard. I was originally going to make her a newt, but decided not to, as I already have 2 AU characters, one OC, the other a real character, who are mutant newts.
As to the hair, it's because the very first female mutant I remember seeing, is Mona Lisa from the 80s TMNT cartoon. Along with her, April who was once mutated into a cat, and both Irma and Vernon who got mutated into rats like Splinter, you could see they still had some looks in them that didn't go away: Body type and their hair.
Even in the 2003 series I saw that a lot of non human beings had features a human would. Body type, hair, etc. I basically grew up with that image in my head.
Also, I'd love to quote National Geographic here: Hair, which provides insulation and protection, is seen as one of the main evolutionary innovations that led to the rise of mammals.
But the origins of hair date back to an unknown reptile ancestor that lived more than 300 million years ago, in the Paleozoic era, the new study says.
Basically, reptiles do have hair genetics. Meaning a mutant reptile can have hair.

Ah, well see she's a mutant. Half lizard, and half human. At least that's what I assume. She's not my OC, so I don't really know for sure. Anyway. That's just how the creator of this OC designed her.
