Well that's just part of my style. Some other artists do the same thing. I don't really know why, but I just like the way it looks. If you don't, then I'm sorry, but I'm not getting rid of it. :/

You're exaggerating. If she wants to draw red noses, let her be. Some cartoons also have red noses and it doesn't mean they drink to much alcohol. It's part of her style and I don't see anything wrong with it, it doesn't look bad. Also, you mention "red noses IRL mean...". Well, IRL we have five fingers and in cartoons they often have four fingers. There are a lot of stuff that don't occur IRL like in drawings or cartoons. In anime they also have red cheeks, elbows, shoulders, knees (Which IRL doesn't happen that much) and I think it looks good. People just tend to critizice too much and they don't see they also draw unrealistic things.
