Seventeen bodies and a kerosene can
All lined up by a simple quiet man
Says freedom always comes that's what he knows
Strikes a match and the first body blows
Second fire starts by power of mind
He does a quick twirl and a pelvic grind
The third and fourth are quite the laugh
He sets them off with a string of Blackcats and their stomachs full of gas
Five through ten take some time to get going
It's pretty hard to make fire when the wind starts blowing

Eleven is special, it's his lucky number
So he slits her throat, fucks, then burns her

Twelve, thirteen, and fourteen are dead looooong before his lighter clicks
Been about a week since he'd dug their eyes out with mint-flavored toothpicks

Number fifteen's words so shrill as her shattered  teeth clap
through smoke flavored foam on her lips charred black

And the last two girls hear all and cracking flesh and snaps and gasps, so they lie--and they wait--and they sit and stare 'til the next day comes.
But for him today is another job well done ...

At night they offer pleads and prayers that break loose from dry tongues and raise to Gods' ears
above the moon dancing between the stars that they may escape tomorrow's blaze
To reclaim freedom and prosperity in more delicate ways.

No answer came as both would expect
The Gods' feed on their whim and directives they set
It's said 17 virgins sacrificed
for a years worth of crops and for the kings reign to end in pride
