No, unfortunately here in Italy there are not the books of the cycle Ravnica.
The only books translated here are Time Spiral and Mirrodin

Well like all Magic stories there are three books and he DOES appear in the second and the third.
In "Guildpack" a crazy Izzet-Scientist trys to breed three old dragon eggs he found because nowadays Niv-mizzet is the only Dragon still alive in Ravnica. He plans to use the three dragons to gain control about the world. Niv-mizzet isn't happy when he finds out about it. Luckly Agrus Kos ([link] ) is able to gain control about one of the dragons. In a huge fight Two of the dragons kill each other and the third egg is crushed. Agrus Kos dies during the fight.
In the second book it turns out that the third dragon didn't die when his egg got crushed but isn't able to get free either because he is badly injured. Some creatures called Nephilim ([link] [link] [link] [link] [link] ) eat the unborn dragon and become really powerful. They (and some other things that aren't important for Niv-mizzet) start to cause chaos and Niv-mizzet decides to fight them. He is able to defeat them but is badly wounded. He hides to heal and nobody knows where he went.
