To hazard a guess, maybe her arm(the one most visible) is cybernetic and can be detached if she chooses to which she will have a club.

Of course there's the standard 'flirt with/seduce then knock out the guard'. Although that might not work because-
1) The guard is too smart for such an overused cliché.
2) The guard is an eunuch or gay.

Nice ....or the guard is on her side, who is an undercover soldier that served in enemy camp. So they just have realized each other and now are thinking about some escape plans

That could work. Or the Guard doesn't like what he has to do on a daily basis. He see the Prisoner as a 'Way Out'.
