In celebration of the upcoming Pokemon GenIII remakes...This is my submission to UNSW PokeSoc's art competition (2014).
Features Flannery vs Winona (fire vs flying).
Can't draw pokemon.
Looks like I'm back to using thick lines again.
Done on Sai. Edits on Photoshop. 15-20 hours.

The women look great, but I can't figure out what's going on with Torkoal's face to save my life. It just looks weird. Oh well, don't mind me, I haven't slept in twenty-one hours so maybe I'm just being slow.

Don't worry. Torkoal's face was screwed up on my part haha - I didn't know how to draw it.

The effects throughout are beautiful, especially on their hairstyles - you made Flannery's look brilliant, it's as if someone could pull it off for real. The Pokemon do look pretty good, I have to say; perhaps Altaria's neck seems a bit thin, but really, that'd be one small issue and it doesn't detract from the artwork in any way (plus, it makes me feel awful trying to pick holes in such a great artwork). Really well done indeed.
