The shading and color choice is amazing here. I can see the light under their skin.

This is beyond beautiful! The shine and shimmer on his hair is wonderfully done, and the shading just in general is so rich that it kind of reminds me - rather fittingly, it must be said - of Medieval portraits, the kind you'd see of famous Kings and Queens.
