The coming of autumn…Such a sweet time for the world…
When the colors change
Red, yellow, orange and gold…
Sweet, sweet autumn.
Sooo this is my entry for ’s contest, which can be found here: [link] .
I hope you like him, SilverFlame…I present you with Fómhar, the deity of Autumn. (His name is Gaelic for “Autumn”
) The leaves look a bit funneh to me…but the concept is that he’s calling autumn to the land, and so the changes begin…I hope I do alright ^^ First try at repainting a mane/forelock. Gah.
I really hope he does okay. I sorta like ‘im.Credits:

OK, because I didn't have time to fully comment earlier 
I really like how it looks like he's walking/floating above the trees. That really gives him that deity type image. And the swirl of leaves started at the horse really gives the sense that he is the bringer of the season. Again, I love the mane and how well the colors of the sky tie in with the whole image. And the blue keeps the image from being too bright and adds that hint of a chill in the air.

What a beautiful photomanipulation! The only thing I'd like to criticise is that there are a few too many butterflies, personally I think the picture would work better if they weren't so closely packed together, or if they thinned out towards the top

Ahhh that may be why it looks a bit off...I couldn't figure out how to thin the brush >.< But I can go back and fiddle to see if that helps. (They're supposed to be leaves, by the way

That might be it. I tried changing their colors to a more shimmery, aumtumn-y color (XD) but it looked like leaf-shaped barf when I did that. >.<
