The Harmony Guards: The Harmony Guards are a species of underground ponies which were created
when the Tree of Harmony was first formed. When it started to grow (which it grows quickly), it wasn't at
it's full magical potential. But when it reached it's full potential, these magical ponies where created from
the roots of the tree to protect it. Harmony Guards all have a special purpose, and their top priority is the
Tree. The Earth Guards tend to the very soil and environment around the Tree, so it stays healthy. The
Unicorn Guards tends to the tree itself, caring for it's branches and keeping the gems as magical as they
can be. The pegasus guards tend to the top of the tree, keeping the flow of magic it shares steady and
controlling any harsh weather so the tree does not get damaged.

-Crystal growing from hooves
-Emblem on chest

Uncommon Traits:
-Earth Pony
-Crystal spiraling around horn
-Glowing crystals (at night)

Appearance: Harmony Guards are very elegant. When they walk, it almost seems as if they are always
prancing, even floating. They have a magical aura that practically enchants all who stumble across them.
Their colors usually match which celestial body they are aligned with, and their crystal coats make the
colors sparkle. Harmony Guards can be short or tall, but are usually a little taller (between Princess
Twilight and Cadence). They never have neon colors, usually pastels or darker shades. They can have
markings, but nothing to bold like cheetah print. Freckles (spots), stripes and other shapes can be found
on them.

Society/Habits: Harmony Guards take their roles very seriously. The sun alignment ponies work during the
day, the moon alignments work during the night, and the star alignment work at dusk and dawn, and fill
in during the night and day for anypony unfit to do their jobs. Some ponies have other jobs like regular
ponies, which are typically medical ponies and teachers. When sleeping, Harmony Guards rest further into
the cave where the Tree of Harmony exists.

Lore: The Harmony Guards have existed since the Tree of Harmony has existed, and have performed their
sole purpose of protecting the Tree. When Royal Sisters found the Tree, the Harmony Guards were
honored to meet the beings connected to the tree. Their cutie marks etched on the trunk of this magical
organism. They explained how the gems were so powerful, and they possessed the very magic of
harmony. Celestia and Luna were convinced they could use the elements for purposes of good, but the
Harmony Guards were hesistant on letting them go. But they assumed their magic could fuel the Tree
while the sisters were using the Elements. Little did they know, Celestia and Luna were keeping elements
for longer than expected, and when Discord led his reign, the Harmony Guards failed to keep it's power
up. The whole species disappeared, along with the magic of the tree, and Equestria was soon to be lost of
magic as well. When the Mane 6 returned the Elements, the tree was restored of it's power, and the new
burst of magic sprouted a box, which turned into Twilights castle. Slowly afterwards, the Harmony
Guards returned one by one. Their memories were fuzzy, and have yet to be reintroduced to the
Princesses.

Extra:
-Harmony Guards are immortal, and as long as the tree exists, they exist
-Harmony guards eat plants they retrieve from the Everfree forest. There are ponies designated for the
job.
-Harmony Guards have the same power level, which means every pony has the same power level expect
for the very first HG. They have very strong magic, especially when near the tree.
