From the episode "A Friend In Deed".
Some layers are removables, which renders the decor almost empty:
- the stuff in the foreground
- the objects on the chimney
- the ropes in the foreground
- the lantern and the ropes hung above
- the objects on the ground along with those leaning against the wall
- the carpet
I even extended the decor by adding the entrance.
BEWARE!
- some layer titles are in French. you've to play with them to know which one is removable.
- some of them can not be removed such as the chimney and the pole in the foreground

Did you do the wood grain using this linewidth tool that AI has? I find wood grain a real pain in Inkscape though I can just about do it with the tweak tool now though that generates far too many nodes...

what wood grain? you mean the lines on the wooden ground? if yes, i used that tool, indeed. if you need to do those lines, use the pen tool instead. as simple as that

If you want to reuse a vector made by someone else while preserving layers you should download the source file (in this picture an AI file) and open it in the relevant program. So here you'd have to use Adobe Illustrator, this file will also open in Inkscape but you will lose the layers (it is possible to recreate them though).

when i started i just got the normal pixely picture and traced over it, making my own layers. I do everything in Flash cause i already had flash. i think GIMP does vectors and its free. try that out if you dont already have a program to draw with

Nope Gimp is a raster program. Inkscape is where you want to go for a free vector program.
