If it had an in-game role or stats, I think those would be it :0
I'm kind of amazed that you thought about the application and/or use for this fusion though, thanks for that! It was kind of cool to read through and compare it to my interpretation (which is similar)

Perhaps fabulous enough to compete with Mega ampharos : ))))
Thanks! I'll see if I can replicate that general feel in future works :0

Why thank you! I'm glad that I managed to preserve that aspect from the Pokemon I fused :')

Will do! :0

I think I can chalk that up to each of the pokemon I fused being majestic :,)
Thank you though, I tried to keep that in the fusion

B-but you literally took their majesty and amplified it ;w; It's like if beauty was a single Pokemon, this would be it

I mean, maybe? I focused on it, sure, but a majority of the design was pieced together :')
Thank you so much though, that's pretty high praise and I'm rather humbled by it ;w;

Truth weighs heavier than lies, and lies are empty words, word logic XDXD
But you really ought to take credit where credit is due c; I'm sure you're gonna win the contest, if not come in real close

Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2017-12-22 05:00:14 +0000 UTC]
I've heard the term of words carrying weight but wow :0
Never thought of that literally before
Well... I'm not sure if I'll win the contest (I actually found another contestant's piece who I'm rooting for personally), but I hope this is a strong entry :,)
I will admit though that I quite like this fusion, personally
Even if it has most of the colors of the rainbow in it

TheModestYing In reply to Cloudshocks [2017-12-23 06:04:21 +0000 UTC]
. . . Legit? I thought that's where the phrases came from xD Mind blown?
Well, it's always fun to see various people's designs and concepts >w< Sure, if you don't win you can learn a ton from others~! Though, this is coming from the person who procrastinates and is too self conscious to participate in any contests ;w;
Rainbow is freakin awesome. Hard to color, but awesome xD You never did it wrong before, always amazing

I think it's a bit of a "which came first" scenario :,D
That's what I plan on doing; probbaly gonna browse through the entries before the winners are announced :0
If I'm being honest I partially use contests as a way to encourage myself into productivity/work with deadlines, so... I don't blame you if you don't participate in them :,)
Yeah, just a bit difficult planning out how to make all the colors work together
Ahhh thank you :,D

. . . Oh my god those are just mmmmmm, I could have a discussion for daaaaaays xD
I feel like I totally should participate in one contest at one point or another xD Get a gauge for where I'm at as a passive artist
Honestly it looks quite great! So rest assured, Seel of approval x3

Same here, actually :,D
I'd recommend it! Although you might want to do it over break/when homework is light, as otherwise it's pain
Ahhh thank you :,0
I can't say that enough tbh

Those are always fun ^w^
XD I'm not worried about workload, I'm worried about motivation and procrastination
;w; You really are amazing at what you do, so, it's only natural I'd be in awe. Just keep nailing it

Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2017-12-29 00:40:31 +0000 UTC]
Well... Depends on the subject and the person you're talking with
It may be good to choose a contest with a deadline about a month away from when you start then, you'll have around 3-4 weeks and you can look at the other entries/artists you like for inspiration while having time to work on it
Plus, a good thing with scheduled art is most of the time once you get working on it, it gets easier and even fun
Thank you, I'll try my best :')

XD Am I the only one who has conversations with myself in the shower sometimes??
Hm.... Should I just put "contest" in the search and see what turns up? X'D
That's kinda why I'm enjoying my art class so much this year. First time taking it, but I'm getting a lot bette than I would have on my own
>w👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2017-12-31 07:10:12 +0000 UTC]
Seems like an odd place to have ideas/self conversation, but technically inventors have admitted thinking up their inventions while using the bathroom so... :,)
Perhaps! Just make sure the one you choose is something you can 1. draw, and 2. is something you like/are neutral to
Art classes are pretty good with that honestly, but I wish I could've actually used mine
It's a bit ironic that I didn't like mine due to it being before my artistic hobby picking up

XD Welp, I'm on track to being a good engineer then whoo!
Well, yep >w< Though, I'm working on a Secret Santa thing for a group I'm in and I have absolutely no idea how to continue what I'm working on :'D
Mine is just a cluster fruck of morons ducking around cause it's a mandatory course that no one takes seriously except for a handful of people if even that many xD I feel so bad for my teacher in that class.... But I do get a lotta practice and advice for drawing ^w^
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2017-12-31 23:55:44 +0000 UTC]
Who knows, you may invent something that helps people think up of more ideas!
Oh the irony
If you want, I can try suggesting things if you've taken a picture/have a picture of it you can show me :0
Although if it's an inspiration problem, then I can try recommending things I use when that happens
That's usually what most art classes are (at least until college, from what I hear), honestly
Although I'm glad that a few of them (and the teacher for that matter) as willing to help out! It's no art-school level class, but it'll be interesting to see where your art will go from here

TheModestYing In reply to Cloudshocks [2018-01-03 02:32:44 +0000 UTC]
Oh man the irony would be phenomenal cause you know xD
I mean, I'm just having trouble drawing the inside curvature and texture of a cave wall xD
Well, I'm being exposed to a lot of median other than digital so, maybe if I git gud at the basics I'll fare a little better on digital xD
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2018-01-03 06:00:55 +0000 UTC]
Irony so ironic it loops back onto itself
Hey, stalagmites and stalactites are pretty hard to draw, and texturing has its moments too! I'm not surprised it would be somewhat difficult :'0
True, but inking pens aren't quite the pen tool on a program
From what I can tell, it's good to look up brushes and learn the settings/uses for your program to improve faster at digital; something traditional lacks

TheModestYing In reply to Cloudshocks [2018-01-04 03:41:30 +0000 UTC]
XD Ironception
I think I'm gonna stick with other basic shading at the least, cause for now, I've stalled WAY TOO LONG XDXD
Well, I've definitely been experimenting with IRL, maybe develop a definite style before seeing if I can do similar on the computer? Maybe?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2018-01-06 01:16:57 +0000 UTC]
Is it stalling if you're procrastinating overall shading with one form of shading? Because it doesn't seem like that should be the case
I mean, you can work on developing an art style beforehand, but if not then it should just come naturally as you borrow style quirks/pick and choose what you want your art to look like overtime. It'd be a bit better (if you want to improve your digital art overall, that is,) to just try drawing and doodling, as style will still develop despite being on the metaphorical back burner :0
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TheModestYing In reply to Cloudshocks [2018-01-06 04:56:35 +0000 UTC]
Shading has got to be the hardest thing without a hard contrast xD But I'm almost done with the drawing so, I'm gonna be free of my own self-criticism soon
Hm. Well, I've sorta got myself a style that's more... Sketch based than like a refined product, if you mean. I like conceptualizing the goal before hand and do rough sketches of the entire picture, before smoothing, retracing, smoothing, etc. until I'm satisfied enough to color, and even then, I don't think I've really used the same exact color twice xD

Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2018-01-13 05:00:03 +0000 UTC]
One of the best feelings there is for an artist, to be sure :,D
That's actually pretty thorough, but my point was that you should try digital before you establish your art style if you want to use the medium well :0
I think I'll actually try the conceptualization/rough sketchwork process though, it sounds helpful!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TheModestYing In reply to Cloudshocks [2018-01-14 05:51:21 +0000 UTC]
Hm, I really like free-handing so, probably gonna do layers of sketches till I'm content with the "final" layer XD
But, conceptualization always helps me get a basic footing for something new! So, yeah! No prob, Teach! I gotchu ;w;
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2018-01-16 02:34:28 +0000 UTC]
Sounds good, as long as the layers don't stretch into infinity :,)
Fair point, that could help out in the long run
Thanks ;w;
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TheModestYing In reply to Cloudshocks [2018-01-17 00:55:05 +0000 UTC]
.... shhhhhhhh, totally won't happen (okay might happen) but maybe like 5-6 layers
We all practice and do our craft differently, and admittedly, I've got some bit to go~
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2018-01-17 05:45:31 +0000 UTC]
I mean, I've heard of 4 layers being a hassle, you doin' okay? :')
Well yeah, but I have a feeling you'll get there rather soon. You've actually been improving across the board rather than in one specific style/medium too, which is rather hard to accomplish ;w;
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TheModestYing In reply to Cloudshocks [2018-01-17 05:46:42 +0000 UTC]
Yep : D Actually, I've been doing sketches on my iPad which only allows 3 layers XD
;w; Well, I don't want to be stuck doing only one thing, I want to experiment and know what it's like to do everything before settling down XD
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Cloudshocks In reply to TheModestYing [2018-01-27 18:52:11 +0000 UTC]
Ah, okay! Seems like a good place to start, just don't overuse the 'erase layer' tool
Is it just me, or does that sound like a life philosophy? :')

Well yeah, you came up with it :,D
