Hey, it was either drawing the Rotom Dex or a cheesy pun. And let's be honest, we all know which one we'd pick : )))))
Finally posting something after that month long hiatus! Huzzah...
If there's anything to be said about this piece, it was pretty interesting. Basic in concept, it fluctuated a lot between art block and inspiration, as well as more pastel experiments. It was also a time experiment, mainly to test how long I could complete a digital piece... Which is good to know, but a bit dismaying. :,)
My style also changed a bit in this piece, which was pretty interesting? Tried out some new techniques/stylizations that turned out pretty well.

I probably would have chosen that pun as well, making up puns can sometimes be a rather struggle, like walking against the headwind ;3

(The linework? It's mainly messing around with width settings/augmenting certain variations in accordance with lighting/coloration. Glad you like it ;v; )

I think the best part of this deviation is how you combine both completely perfect circles, like the fan and fan blades, with uneven ellipses, like the eyes and cheeks. It really brings out the life in the Pokemon.

Y'know, I hadn't been able to place exactly why I liked the sketch so much... But you appear to have worded it perfectly
But yeah, Fan Rotom's pretty mechanical in design, so a lot of it had to rely on posture/expression. Ironically enough, though, the 'perfect circles' took the better part of an hour in terms of lineart editing (while the expression took about 15 minutes) :,D
