Since discovering some new program shortcuts, I wanted to try digital drawing to see how much my process had improved. And this was the test drawing! It'll be a submission for a pokemon generation collab (Hoenn), so it'll be neat to see this guy next to the other submissions :0

In terms of techniques, I managed to get my flat colors to all clip to the same layer, while keeping lighting and shading in clipping layers of their own. I also experimented with a shaded background and brush combo, which (imo) turned out really cool. And it was fun to draw Swampert with perspective/in my style, too. All in all, a fun drawing of a design I wouldn't normally tackle :,)
