Wrapping up the fanart streak, here's something I haven't done in a really long time... >w>
(That is, designing megas or redesigns. Just pokemon spin-off designs in general?)
While it didn't turn out quite how I wanted it to, this piece was actually pretty neat to work in greyscale with. The lineart also happened relatively quickly, which I was really happy with. It's surprising how much I miss digital after a while... :,D
Probably not the best pokemon redesign out there, but Carnivine is one of the pokemon that kind of needs it? It doesn't have the best type defense/coverage out there, and its design is... Kind of off-putting. The anime version was actually really interesting/sorta sweet, but it would've been nice if the design pulled more from the venus flytrap design (which are actually really cool looking, by the way ;w; )
Would you guys be interested in a redesign series? A bit of a random question to ask, I know, but it'd be kind of fun to try out and work with character design.... Just a thought. :0

Probably just picking a list of characters/designs and tagging/formatting the titles, layout, etc in a similar fashion? Recommendations on what (or whom) to redesign would also work
