In a nutshell how I got to do this fan art...
I found a sketch of Eric and Airel in my sketch book, but Eric was the merman and Airel was the human girl... I figured I'd upload the sketch but somehow, I went and goggled 'The Sea Prince' and found this movie. I got kinda hooked and wanted to draw my version of the two. I didn't see the whole movie... it wasn't subbed and I need subtitle to understand what's going on. Sadly, there's none yet.
So, here's my version of the two cute couple... yeah, kinda Disneyfied. I whipped this art up and it didn't take me so long to do two version colorings. Now I gotta hoist my arse to bed.
Though... From my perspective, I think their coloring got switched around. If she's the fire child, she should be more of the fire coloring while the sea prince should have coloring of the ocean. So I have the other version : [link]
