Well sometiems we don't even notice improvement. So I'd recommend to jsut take a look back at your old work and compare it to new one. It can be surprising.

That's true.. But sometimes taking a leap in a different direction might also be a good choice. Or the wrong one. Or at least trying new things to improve, not to stay at one point for too long, like I did. You're a great example of improvement, those drawings often melt my eyes

I used to try out a lot. In terms of styles and tools to use. From Pencils till Copic markes, from polystlyed cartoon to realism. You sometimes have to think around of how you think things would look normally correct. And thats how you find new paths.
