I made a kind of mask with felt (it's just 4 parts sewn together to make it round a little)and I cut out holes for the mouth and eye. After I hotglued fabric strips all around. The mask goes a bit behind head but not too much to be able to put it on and to remove it.

btw it becomes really hot inside that thing, it's thick and tight so this is not very comfortable ><
