Please excuse the lame title. I've been reading a lot of fan-fiction lately, both new entries as well as some of my favorite older stories, and this picture is the result. I got it in my head that these three would form a group of friends like the CMC, if their storylines somehow collided with each other in some great cosmic mixup.On the right we have Midnight, from the very well done Out In The Cold series. On the left is Nyx, from the now wildly popular Past Sins series. And in the middle we have the ever familiar Dinky Hooves, from many very touching and enjoyable stories.

Dinky is (C) the entire pony fandom, I guess.

I have read past sins, and would love to read all the pony fanfiction out there. But I have a VERY tight schedule, and even someone without a schedule could not ever read all the fanfiction. what are the best ones out there? other than these (it can be sad as long as it has a good ending and is not sick like coughcupcakescough some fanfictions out there.)
