Since I made my trainer-sona, I kinda had to make a design for one of her signature Pokemon, Yanmega.Personally, dragonflies are pretty much my spirit animal, and Yanmega is such an underrated Pokemon that had so much potential. Let's be honest, we all wanted that Bug/Dragon-type mega evolution that never happened. So this was my idea!
I took some inspiration from the Meganeura dragonfly, as well as fighting aircraft and such. I did my best to keep it true to the original design, working with the traits it already had, while still adding traits to make it more "dragon-like". I didn't want it to be overdesigned, just keeping it natural, and I quite like how the final design turned out. (It took a couple tries)
Also, since Yanmega doesn't learn many, if any, dragon-type moves on its own, I decided to give it a signature hidden ability to fill that gap. Who knows, maybe it would go through a few moveset changes if it were introduced to the canon games?

Exactly! One of my favorites when I started playing Pokemon. Shame it doesn't learn any dragon-type moves, though, which is why I added the hidden ability that turns normal type moves to dragon.
