So I've been using the Masuda Method to breed Shinx for a while now, and it was a pleasant surprise to see this guy today~ ^^ And by "pleasant", I mean I pretty much leapt out of my chair squealing. I've been nicknaming Shinx everything from "King Dedede" to "MasudaisPAIN" to all of the Elements of the Periodic Table to random towns in Norway in order to keep myself sane for like what, +5 months? Hoo boy. I thought I'd commemorate my first Masuda-bred Shiny with a drawing.

His name is Flashcard, as the title states. He has four perfect IVs in Atk, Def, Sp. Def, and Spe, as well as a Naughty nature and the ability Intimidate, which I'm all very happy with. I think the drawing went well, too~ I tried to incorporate softer, gradient-like shading and darker shading together, and I feel like that turned out well.

(In case you're unfamiliar with it, the Masuda Method is a method of breeding in Pokemon in which the two Pokemon being bred come from different real-world locations. This increases the chance of breeding a shiny. There's more information on the topic on Bulbapedia here .)
