Honestly I think Square's big goof was they made a pairing of two people who are shy. Tifa has emotional insecurity and is too shy to straight up talk about her feelings, and Cloud is just laconic. So, yeah your not gonna see a lot of salsa dancing and rose petals, followed by a steamy make out session on Seventh heavens bar. You need to pay attention to their history, context and actions towards each other.

I have seen my fair share of Clerith fan arguements and as much as I hate to admit it, they have several good points. HOWEVER, there is one point they have yet to counter: Cloud can't be with a girl who is DEAD!
