Description
Named for thier gigantic-ness and temper...ness.Yeah this is nowhere close to the final product.
The silhouette of the human looks like craaaap. i took it from another picture.
Also, had to estimate the sizes. i decided that 4 meters was wayyy too damn tall for the average ogrewolf, so i made it 3 meters to 3 1/2. Very rarely do they get to be 4 meters... and when they do, they think theyre so badass that they dont have to do anything.
They speak telepathically, but they cant pick and choose who to talk to. its more like a loudspeaker. Not to mention they howl and communicate like normal wolves.
Ogrewolf packs are very small. Usually a male, a female, and a baby. sometimes the male will skip out, which happens fairly frequently. only the weaker and calmer ones will attempt to form bigger packs.
Aaand the skull is a little elongated (sorry for the crappiness) and they have little tusks, which i may move to the front in time.
NOT AN OPEN SPECIES RIGHT NOW.

I love it. It takes a normal wolf and amps it up a hundred fold.

What is the purpose of the females having a pouch? I get the fact they are not marsupials. But why? I am just curious.

:\ Mostly cause the world they live in is pretty dangerous and its easier to just take the pup, put it in the pouch and run. Because of thier size its hard to find suitable caves and proper dens. (plus im trying to develop them into something not-a-wolf XD) I may change it later, but thats what im sticking with!

Well I agree. I believe that is a good idea for these creatures to have a pouch It will become very useful in future. Also maybe you can have something that birds do? Just a suggestion. Colouration differences between Gender, or age, or both.

Meh the difference is mostly in the size, males have slightly bigger tusks (if I move them to the front, itll be a way bigger difference), and the males have longer fur along the underside of the belly.
XD My dragons are like birds. The shinier and colorful, the more mates and kiddies they get!

o_o lol it holds the babbiees. Unfortunately, there's only room for one large pup or two small pups, and only has two teets, so a lot of the babies dont survive. The mother has to gamble, to see if she can watch all of them at one, risking her own health if the male has left, or she has to let the ones she cant fit in die. most of the time they'll wait and see though, especially if the male is there.

uess... I debated having these be weres, or having a human form.. but decided against it. their size is a weakness in a way. there are a LOT of caves where they live, and they cant get in all of those so prey and hunters can get away.
yeah my weres are only horse sized on all 4s... xD

but still--SO INTIMIDATING D: i'd be freaking out if one of those things stood over me >> not to mention those fangs--fearsome! <3
yeah, that's how mine are <3 they're a little taller than the average person when they're in their half-and-half (aka anthro) form, too, but they're only GIANT HORSE SIZED WOLVES when they're in their quadruped form <3
