Es Astro boy, con un rediseño propio y en aparente reparación.Es una version libre, inspirada por el concepto del personaje, pero no esta basado en alguna escena en particular.
Lo hice asi, por que me resulta dificil dibujarlo como realmente es. Asi que lo acerqué mas a lo que suelo crear yo.
Es una mezcla entre el Atom de Tezuka y el de Urasawa. El cabello es mas como el que usa el Atom de Pluto.
No se, seguro que a los mas fans no les gustara como quedó... ni yo misma estoy conforme jajajaja.

Hecho en papel bond tamaño carta, con tinta negra, lápices de colores y digitalizado en Photo Editor Online pixlr/ Corel Photopaint X3.

I put this one among my favorite, but, to tell you the truth, I don't know anything about "Pluto" the comic. I got here and there some pictures, and I almost know its ending, but it's not enough, you know.

Yess, Pluto is recommended, as everyone says. And it's true to the source material, enough to feel comfortable with the story.

I have got some pictures, and one of them shows the main characters compared with the "Pluto"'s ones.
So I reckognized Atom, Tenma, Ochanomizu, the German golden robot, the one with the round face, the 6 handed Scottish one and Epsilon.
I also have got some pages from the comic, but they are almost all in Japanese, and they're too small. I wish I could find the whole comic, somewhere.
Well, I'd like to see all the comic based on Tetsuwan Atom's stories... Let's see.
Your drawing is amazing, very touchy. Poor Atom is under repair, but this means that he's deactivated and in pieces. I hope he'll be better than before, after the repair.

I read it all, and I liked it very much, even if the final chapter seems to be a bit rushed.
I liked how they developed all the characters, even the not memorable from the original manga: I've never thought I could cry for North 2 or for Brando, or even for Gesicht. Maybe Atom is a bit too serious, but if the story is the same of the old original manga, we all know how does it like to be in Hamegg's hands... and maybe it was superfluous to see it again: we know it too good.

Con respecto al final, tienes toda la razón, pareciera que al autor (Naoki Urasawa) le falto espacio para terminar el final, yo hubiera querido un epilogo; pero él es famoso por escribir sus finales abiertos, lo importante es completar los detalles del viaje y no tanto lo que pasa al llegar a la meta.
Pero lo que mas me gustó, es el tono humano de su obra: serio, melacólico, empático, dramático y adulto. Sus personajes estan llenos de matices, yo adoré a todos los robots principales; incluyendo a Gesicht, que es el personaje con el que mas me costó identificarme al principio porque no tenemos nada en común; pero una vez sale de escena se le extraña. También me gusta esta versión triste de Tenma juju.
Urasawa sí que respeta la historia original del manga, porque es un fan declarado, y es casi seguro que Atom sufrió estando con Hamegg. Por lo mismo podriamos decir que es un héroe "formado" pues ya pasó por una etapa de creación, casi es como un adulto en el cuerpo de un niño.
Ah! si te interesa, hay rumores sobre una película (por Illumination Entertainment), una serie (Guillermo del Toro y HBO) y un anime (MAPPA studio). Pero no hay nueva infomacion al respecto

That's truly amazing, I love the detail and the coloring, it even makes the picture sadder by doing blurs in the background a fading black. Great job, I really like this very much.

Oh your very welcome, I really do like it, as for your style was good. It does not have to be tezuka's style. But I think it's good.
oh what I'm creeped out, well the wires and curicuty pouring out of Astros body, and yes it's art, so it's perfectly fine 
(P.s I'm a huge fan of tezuka's work. But fav is Astro boy)

If I like the style of Tezuka, but I did not do very well jaja, better use mine for ease.
Now I understand the context of your comment, it is disarmed, that was a bit surprised because normally we do not see well.
I would like to someday teach us in detail the components Atom carries inside, and how they work, sure you remember a structure like the T-800 Terminator! That curiosity is behind this drawing.

Yes maybe I can teach you around that lf you want to. There are a few components, such as vacuum tubes, fuel pump, power reactor, circuit. That sort of thing..right?
