I got a fun ask on tumblr about lion king fan characters and such, it's always something I wanted to do but I never felt good enough at drawing large cat species so I bailed on it. Buuuut when I was much younger one of my very first personal characters was a funny mix of snow leopard and lion that I called Snow Larins... lmaoSo I got another ask wondering what my character would look like now if I drew them. I decided to also play with the design itself to represent me in current day and age. I had a lot of fun and when I thought about myself it really came natural to me what I wanted to see and feel. Now she's still part lion cub, but a bigger dose of leopard and keeping that long fluffy snow leopards tail. Of course cream and golden tan gradients because who are we kidding I'm a sucker for gradients.
I'm really really happy with how this redesign came out and I think I'll actually be keeping her!
I also accidentally created a new signature that I think I'll be using for now on too. I really like it, simple and easy to format/read.

It was a lot of fun, I was in a pretty crappy mood when it happened but this little kitten cheered me right up. How could I ditch her after putting a smile on my face? I hope to practice drawing her more soon. <3

And I love how drawing something can put you in a completely different mood, I love when you're abit moody for whatever reason, sit down and hash something out and by the end of it you are super proud lol.

Heheeee, same! My sona is typically a ferret, but I can't resist giving her a much longer fluffier tail for my own quirks~<3 So when I was making this girl and I had to do the same. At least it follows the old concept of using part snow leopard? Haha...
SAME~<3 Just love feeling bad and needing to zone out so I can just draw and work and it just helps relieve everything that's happening around me and lets me just take a break from it all. <3
