Excuse me, but is there some kind of backstory to this?
I wish to read up on this character, do you have anything on them? This is really interesting, and it's well drawn too, I'd really like to know if this character has some sort of backstory I should know of.

Yeah, I remember his backstory a little bit, or at least what I had in mind for him.
Willow Whispers name is an obvious play on will'o'wisp. He lives on his own, away from most others similar to Zecora, just content doing his own thing on his own time. His cutie mark is a glowing lantern (which I changed from the blob in his previous pic but never posted here, derp) says it all for his "calling" in life; he leads the souls of dead ponies, usually young ones, to the next place. He lives on his own because of this and for fear people will think he's crazy, talking to himself, when he's actually helping someone cross over to the other side. When he does visit town, its usually at night unless he is in need of food or other amenities.
In other words, he's the Ghost Whisperer of Ponyville.
I never really took time to fully flesh him out aside from that, but I liked the idea enough to doodle him every now and then, tho I've lost almost all interest in MLP due to it kinda... sucking past a certain season. My apologies for the late reply. I don't visit here as often anymore.
