Super quick 5-10 minute pixel of a quaker parrot....with some luck I'll be getting one within a month ^_^!!!I'm crazy excited!!!!! I've been doing tons of research and getting the apartment prepped.
Anyway, here are the steps I did for this sprite art:
1) black/overall body shape while looking at many reference photos
2) remove black until just an outline remains, then adjust outline to make smoother
3) start adding some colors, continue adjusting outline if needed
4) change outline colors, add shading, and other details ^^
