There's really not much a difference between SAI and Clip Paint Lab. If anything, CPL is actually more advanced, but because it's in Japanese, these advanced options are hard to spot for those who aren't fluent.

It'll probably just take some getting used to. It's not fair to compare one's skill to a program he/she just started using as opposed to a program one has used for years.

i don't know, i was judging from my own experience. i got the hang of clip pretty fast.

Well, one cannot be an expert at something by only doing it once. You can't master a program after using it once. That's absurd.
But have you mastered it?

Of course I haven't mastered it, I don't know any japanese, or kanji, or anything. I know a lot more about sai and photoshop but I draw better at clip. all you really need to know is how to use layers, and try out all the brushes.
