I would like to sincerely thank for allowing me to chance to ink and color his pencil work, and for granting me permission to use this background (it's actually a 3-D render and not a photograph). I believe the coloring and inking in this image turned out very well. As most of you probably know, this is the first time I've ever done something like this with an image involving more than one character. Sorry I forgot to include the necklaces.Related content

The colouring is simple and quite neat. Nothing too complex and yet nice to see. The colours add more cartoon-y feel to the pic. I'm favin' this.

The images seem cleaner than all of your others. Crisper, nicer. Fresher.
All of them have different skin tones. That can be difficult in flash.
Critique -
Why does the blonde girl have magical dissapearing eyebrows? : P Adding the eyebrows on the characters helped alot. But not adding one to one of them just seems odd and out of place.
You know how you said that your art just seems to be missing some life in it? You don't really put all that much emotion in it. Well, that's a bit assumstions on my part. What do you feel when you draw a picture though? That it's an obligation, or do you truly enjoy it and look forward to the next piece?
Square eyes, and having them so boxed in. If you're going to make the eyes that large, surrond them completely. Eyes are the most experessionate ( This probably isn't even a word. ) part of the human face. Just put lines on the top and bottom parts of it. It looks awkard otherwise with eyes that big.

uh Katie read descriptions Clovis acted as the color artist here NOT the line art, did you just ignore it, or were you too busy trying to find a way to dig into a peice of art he finally enjoyed coloring?

I know he didn't do the linart, dear. I've looked at the original before as well, and the artist did not make the eyes square, nor did she forget the eyebrows on the blond.
Look, LK. Clovis is an adult. I'm sure he can take come goddam critique on his art, afterall, he gives me critique all the time. But you know what, I personally don't get offended anymore. Wanna know why?
He's trying to help me grow as a goddamn artist. I may have hurt his feelings, but if he is going to be offended by ME giving critiques, then he has no right to dish them out himself. ( Which, as we both know, he has no problem doing. )
And BESIDES. Why are YOU telling ME that? If Clovis has a problem with the comments I leave, HE should confront me about it.

Thank you, I do believe that coloring is the strong suit of my artwork (especially as evidenced by colorings of other people's artwork).

Aw, its great! You color so well. Though I have to say, right across the green sweater girl's chest is kind of strange. Maybe its just too big of a shadow, or too dark. Everything else...wow. Sweet.
