Next page is here: [link]MY LIFE STORY PART I
"The calling"
To me, this is the most important artwork in my "career" because... it started my career! Or at least, it's the most innovative boom in my whole life, and that was in July of last year, when I was 14. This is my life story, so you'll know this is gonna be long. That's why I sepparated the whole lot in four different parts, one for each page. Here goes...
When I was four years old, there were only three things that I really appreciated:
1. My mother(I would always cry if I were alone, without my mother...)
2. Video-gaming culture
3. Cartoons and Comic-books
I got into the rich world of modern media: I get to watch Cartoon Network all day 'till my eyes bleed, and got introduced to videogaming thanks to my twelve-year-old neighbour and his MegaDrive. It was at that time when I wanted to make a life goal:"Making the world a better place and making people happy".
I was wondering how should I do it: Producing video-games? No, nobody knows how to do that. Inventing somehing helpfull to mankind? Possibly, but invent what?(I was a science-orriented person at that time. Belive me. When I was a 10-year old, I could explain to you step-by-step how a Vacuum cleaner or a VCR work)Making Comic Books and Cartoons? Hell yeah.
It really turned out to be the best choice for me to do. I didn't go to kindergarten, I knew how to read, and I had a hell of a lot time in my hands. So that was it. I spent my days drawing and drawing. Of course, my skills sucked hard-ass compared to any 20 year-old pro-comic artist. But, as for any child, you're in your own little world, thinking that every single little deed you do is perfect. I miss that feeling...
Nonetheless, I continued, pursuing my dream of making the world a better place. Cartoon Network was my role model, and I continuously tried to copy the rellatively simple art-style of it's cartoons. Mainly, Dexter's Lab. Every show kicked ass!
ABOUT THE PAGE: Well, here we see the video-gamees getting to the cinema to watch a Red vs. Blue movie. Yeah, they rule. I made these little jokes about the famous Guybrush Threepwood quote, the muteness of Gordon Freeman, Link and NiGHTS, the walk of fame etc.
The hardest challenge for me to do was to represent Pong, the first video-game. How do you present one whole video game as a character? This was my best thing to think of: A TV with appendages and the actual home console on the top of the body with it's dials representing it's "eyes".

Heh, funny. You get coolness points for putting in a line of dialogue for Freeman, and referncing Red vs Blue since (MINI INTERNET STORY AHEAD) Red vs blue was what got me into video games - I was a bit too young to be listening to their sort of language, but I was a teen and I went to public school so it wasn't like I didn't hear any of those swears already. And then I got into everything Rooster Teeth did, which lead me to more forums, videos, podcasts and then I could tell you quite a deal about videogames that I had never played. I recently got an X-Box to boot, so I've been catching up on my theoretically favorite gamie comapny, VALVe.
Anyway, nice comic. I hope your pursue of arty things works out for you (I want to be a writer, so...)

Lets soo, Gordon Freeman, Link, forgot the yellow dudes name, Raymond or something, don't know who the green dude is, or the guy with the gun, but I do know who Samus and that tomb raider chick is, and of course, Mario and Sonic, and Pac Man, but I don't know who the pong thing is, and I played God of War, so... yeah. Pretty cool.

You don't know your games well, mah boi... XD
The yellow dude is Rayman, the green dude is a random Orc Grunt from the WarCraft series, and the one with the gun is Claude Speed, the protagonist of GTA III.
Pong is well... a game. A GAME, the first video game in history... but it was a bit of a problem to express it in form of a living character, so I thought of that design in the end.
Thanks for the fav, BTW.

Ah, yes, I beat Grand Theft Auto three, and I guessed the yellow dude right, I guess I know what the grunt is that your talking about
is it from the classical over head view warcraft game? And Pong, the ping pong game, right? And, your welcome for the fave.

I wanted to make the line at the first scene very random, so I didn't thought about it a lot.

Too bad he's a fraud here. But then again, I couldn't find a more suitable character to do the job.
The REAL Kratos IS somewhere out there. Belive me. He might appear in the sequel.
