That was supposed to say Line Art but wouldn't fit. : )THis is the sister picture to Evil Offering an Apple. I've redone it twice and still am aggravated with it but decided not to do it anymore. So here is what I've got so far. I have to re-ink the Evil pic then I will be coloring them both. I hope everyone likes! : )Related content

I can't see what's aggravating you about it, unless possibly, POSSIBLY, the eye or the cheek. No idea really, though. She looks good.

Thanks, I'm trying to make sure that I scan the lineart before I color it. I think it's part of the beauty of the Art Noveau style. So I want everyone to see the lines before I color it because it looks very different afterwards. Sensuality is a perfect example of that. : ) I'm glad you like the hands, they are hard to do. : )

Art Noveau is a little hard to explain. It's like line work that is realistic and light and then a thicker connecting line surrounding the figure and the objects around it. Usually there are pretty women with flowers and flowing clothes, and it was also used for lots of advertisement art. It's best to see it for yourself. Here's a link to my favourite AN artist Alphonse Mucha . It's best to see it for yourself. At the bottom of the page are the page numbers, the best examples start on page 3, but they don't take long to load so you should really check out all the pages. I love this website. : )
