Mother Swan with CygnetsA family of Mute Swans (Cygnus olor).
Today I learned that the goslings of Mute Swans are called Cygnets.
It is for #Unframed-Nature 's "Baby Nature" Contest .

So you have a really good zoom lens or was the mother swan very tolerant? I hear they can break your arm if they're in a bad mood and you get too close.... Anyway, terrific shot!

Just a 300mm. But they had their lair only 3m next to the street. I took the photo out of the car window. It was a very lucky moment.

LOL, yeah Cygnet is the term. But I have no problem to call them babies or goslings or whatever
