I only found a few so far. So I dried them for sauces.

I usually just sauté these in a little olive oil plus a pinch of salt. But recently I tried them battered and fried. Wonderful. Enough to make my mouth water. I agree with you, edible and tasty fits exactly.

The 'patch' is quite a secret too. I can find some, but finally my sister revealed where the big Morrel spot was. I will never tell. Wink.

I only found one true morel in wild nature so far (this one was in my brother's garden). The few I found I dried for sauces.

We had rain when the temperatures were right. There were a morels to be found here. Some years are better than others. I hope you have good luck finding more mushrooms

We might have huckleberry's this year. I am sure we will have blackberries, ect.

lol...i went and collected morels this year. It was my first time ever trying to collect shrooms and it was absurdly unsucessful loool XD i mean we found a few..we went in a big group and that was a bad thing already and the weather conditions were bad before that so..it was obvious it'd not work out..
that being said me and my friend it hink we got like..4? and only one was passable. i let her have the other three i would've just dumped them.s he tried to dry them and they wereq uickly overrun by maggots..oh god what a disaster lol

the tip we got is: look around erm..eschen..ash..trees? lol..They are not tied to one another but they are very very commonly found around their roots ^^
