Description
A comic strip I dabbled in, at one point considering it for submission to publishers. It was about a little girl, Emily, and her friend in elementary school, who has psychic powers and could read minds.Bah. Meh. Feh. Phooey.

Aww Emily is cute and a bit of a drama queen! I can see that by all her exagerated expressions

Thank you so much for the comment. I'm actually going to post a second one in the near future and, perhaps, work on some more.

I love the style here, reminds me a bit of Bill Watterson's work.
Nicely done

It's really quite brilliant work, it's hard to express a wide range of emotion in a limited sequential panel layout. This goes everywhere, just like Calvin & Hobbes

Thanks, Diego! I actually have a second strip in this comic series done, but I'm not sure I'll post it. It's fun to draw in a cartoonish style, though.

That's very cool, Zac. Lately I've had many ideas for short stories between 1 and 2 pages long, but those being pretty light in tone, they wouldn't work with the style I usually do, so going in a cartoonish style like you have done, that might be the solution there as well.

Drawing in a cartoonish style can be fun. It can be a whole other artistic experience. I highly recommend trying it out, although I do love your style as it is.

hahaha. That one made me remember my time at school, such a true story, I soo hated to wake up early and having to go there. XDDDD
Great strip, the clasic feeling of your style it's a quite nice to watch.

Thank you, Jade. This comic strip uses my older cartoon style I had before I started delving into a more realistic style (like the one I use in Opey).

Nice! Might have been interesting to have another panel, with a long scaly arm coming from under the bed, handing her her books and saying "Glad I'm not you!"

Reminds me so much of the Classic Comic strips, you have a truly unique style, not to mention that the expressions on their face are so... expressive, it certainly gives it a more human behavior, which for the love of God I cannot imitate, still trying though.
I like it, I would give critique but alas, DA does not allow it. Magnificent job here, chap.

True. It's funny but in a way it's not funny how adults do not take that monster (having to go to school) seriously.

School, to me, always seemed like something of a prison. In "Opey the Warhead", it's literally a prison.

You take the problem seriously. And that's why I love you!
(I must say I loved my primary school, though, but it was different, because I chose to be there and learning what I wanted)
