Description
While there has been many a nagging question that has shaken this great nation in the past few weeks, everything from the state of political discourse to the condition of healthcare, one enigma has been puzzling my poor, troubled mind: what happens when you cross a goth and a bimbo? Why, you get a gimbo! It's quite a rare species, that gimbo. Don't offend them, lest the magically inclined gimbos turn you into something terrible: a two-headed albatross, another gimbo, a scientologist. Well, it's never quite certain what you'll turn into, seeing as gimbos are typically too stupid to use a magic book properly but, ah, well...

Nice. She's quite lovely, and the bat tat and the book are nice touches.

Hmmm...I haven't heard of PSG or Stocking. She must be one busty gal, though.

Gainax has produced several series I've absolutely loved, like Evangelion and "His and Her Circumstances". I haven't seen "Cosplay Complex", though.

I wonder if there's any mileage in the other way around: a brooding and frowny cheerleader. I always love art which plays around with and swaps stereotypes.

Actually, that would make a great drawing. I wonder what she would be called. A sneerleader? A drearyleader?

Ooh the Sneerleader sounds good. There are a few photos of goth cheerleaders around but really it's more in attitude than costume I suppose.

I can't believe I just realized that our gimbo is the witch from A Whole New Outlook [link]
Hmmmm... guess the spell she used on her poor 'subject' had some unexpected side affects.

cluedog In reply to Sxana [2011-01-24 02:05:56 +0000 UTC]
Indeed. She is one and the same.
It was a speculative illustration as to what would happen if she a taste of her own medicine from the same spell. Considering she's already female, her feminine attributes might be enhanced just a little.

I like her.
I hope she shows up soon in one of your amazing works! Great job and also wonderful recent Transformations you have done and I'm exited to see what might be next and how from the vast imagination it transitions.

Thanks! She does sort of show in the main sequence but not quite like this. This was a standalone drawing I did as a sort of sequel for a sequence involving a TG. The goth here gets a little taste of her own medicine in this drawing and, as a result, her contours get a little enhanced.

It could be, although the spell probably converted brain matter to breast tissue. Thus, she changed into a gimbo.

The boobs-to-brains ratio seems a bit imbalanced here.

does bimbo always = big boobs? is that a rhetorical question? this is certainly the beginning of a new meme. We saw it here first. at the very beginning. Congratulations. <3
π: 0 β©: 1
cluedog In reply to cybereena [2011-02-07 02:06:19 +0000 UTC]
Thanks! I don't think bimbo always equals big boobs. There are probably a lot of self-absorbed small chested air-headed women. But, for the sake of clarity, Gimbos always = big boobs.

Oh now Iβm scared. We donβt have Goths our here, only plain old witches, and they just turns us into newts if we offend them. I can live with that, but a scientologist, thatβs a fate worse then hell, no one can be that evil.

cluedog In reply to str4yk1tt3n [2011-01-18 18:03:04 +0000 UTC]
I absolutely agree. And don't forget "himbos", too. There are some oversexed, dimwitted guys out there, too.
I did this drawing because you don't often see goths depicted as bimbos in art. They're usually depicted as dark, punkish, brooding types with some malevolently cunning expression. I thought it might be funny to depict the opposite.

str4yk1tt3n In reply to cluedog [2011-01-18 21:18:11 +0000 UTC]
Yes, himbos are just as rampant. ^_^
And now that you mention it, you are totally right -- you rarely DO see goth girls portrayed as slutty and stupid girls who just jumped on the goth-wagon because it seemed cool and whatever...slutty and stupid does seem to be reserved for the cheerleader types, which is very untrue to life.
Well, I like it. You have cast light on an important matter in our modern world that not enough people address. XD

Being a Gimbo is a hard life to live. You'd love listening to heavy metal but wouldn't understand many of the lyrics. There'd be a lot more room for tattoos, though.
