I love how the Bugs and Daffy like creatures are described as if they were actual animals that you'd find in nature. Also--at least the dog's foot is healed.

I never knew it was possible to make "Silver haired hares" and "Black-feathered mallards" scary. Granted, they're still humorously scary, but still, they actually bit the hunter and his dog! What are they, part werewolf or something?

Thanks, Chris! It's funny but the drawings for this commission flowed right out of me with not as much resistance as they usually do. I feel so much more comfortable drawing in a cartoonish style than I do with realism. Yet, I love the beauty of realism and it keeps pulling toward it.
I'm so glad you caught the reference to Barks. That guy was a master.
