"The rest of the page is on my Patreon page." Translation:The rest of them is behind a pay wall. Don't get me wrong I like your work, but I wish, as well as many others I imagine, rather support you with a kind word on your latest piece, I can only imagine how hard it is to support yourself as a artist, but still... I'm not saying to take down your Patreon, all I'm asking is that you take down the wall and post them here instead, maybe you could post it first on there and a week later on here, it's just an idea.

While I'm grateful for a select group of individuals who continuously comment and the pageviews, these do nothing for my financial situation.Β Most of the people who view my work here on DA are lurkers, view primarily the transformation art, don't comment, and have little regard for my non-transformation work.Β I rarely receive donations and that's only when I ask for them (there have been some very kind donations in such regard, however).Β Translation: the benefits I get for posting art here on DA are extremely limited, whether it's comments or financially. Β It makes producing art tiresome and demoralizing.
I can take down the wall on Patreon, which would be fine for viewers such as yourself or just post it on DA.Β Free art to look at while a select group of others pay.Β But how many people would even be willing to pay so much as $1 a month on Patreon or donate if they see all the art for free anyway?Β In addition, new art is posted here on DA, as well.Β The "Resident Evil" sequence was a recent example.Β I've got another sequence coming up next week here.Β But beyond the hard-earned money of the commissioner who paid for the work and the comments of a group of loyal viewers that I love, there's little financial or supportive benefits to posting new or commissioned art.
