Okay, so quick note: I did a Twitter poll thing some time ago since I thought it'd be fun to ask which indie would be a good one to play through, & a friend of mine saw Wandersong on the list. He tried to get as many people to vote Wandersong, and I decided to place a wager because he tried getting the official Twitter account and the developer to get in on it. Aaand he succeeded and this is the extra doodle I made for him , so it's thanks to him I got to play Wandersong recently~

Alright, so one last time I'll gush about the game, since I've noticed it hasn't been getting as much attention as I believe it deserves, but MAN, Wandersong surprised me. I had this idea that it would be something along the lines of a platformer Rhythm Heaven with some story bits, but boy was I wrong. It's really well crafted with a lot of love and personality poured into it, & the story itself was the highlight instead of the singing involved. The environments are creative, the humor is well written, the story delivers a message and delivers it well, & the music is so, so lovely. Seriously, I've been listening to the OST, & it's hard to not enjoy it, this one being one of my favorites (it's no spoiler, don't worry) .

It may not be perfect; it's not challenging and it's got a few bugs here and there, but if you're looking for a mellow experience with a story for a cherry on top, Wandersong is a gem.
