So here's a change of pace of what I usually post. For the past few months, I've been slowly trying to put together a webcomic that I really hope to put out there soon enough, as I really think this is a medium I'd love to make something light-hearted in. There's still a lot of things left to do until it ever reaches that point (and admittedly, I did this piece earlier than I intended to because I couldn't resist the urge to wait), but the progress remains slow and steady.
One of the tasks in my roadmap is making some "concept art" so I can get a feel for worldbuilding & draw the characters in different settings (though some guys in this piece are "extras", which I'm also practicing in doing), plus I wanted to practice more lineless since I haven't settled for a specific art style yet. So this is gonna be a series of mine that I'll be doing every once in a while~.
I think I have a finalized name for the comic already, but since it might change (and I like surprises), this'll be known as Project Metronome. Here's to hoping it'll come finished soon

Sounds like your really into it, that's good. Finding a good concept and sticking with it seems to be the biggest hurdle, at least for me, so you're already ahead of the game.
Also, Clef has Switch. So Nintendo's canonically part of this universe... there's no turning back now.Β

Honestly, I think I got a bit lucky with that. I have a somewhat clear idea in what I hope to achieve with the comic, & those couple of characters I've held onto for a while can fit that theme. It ended up kickstarting this and where to take it. The hard part for me personally is expanding on that idea enough; I'm still an amateur in things like character design and storytelling, so hopefully it all pans out overtime

I'm sure it will. Starting anything in general is always a learning process... needless to say I certainly don't have that figured out either.

Yeah, starting something is one of the toughest things to do, followed by sticking with it. Honestly, you have a pretty solid foundation to create material, so you're not that far off. From my experience, it really helps to make a plan or roadmap of sorts and remind yourself it's not going to be perfect the first 1, 10, 50 comics. I may have done a few tiny comics in the past, but nothing of this caliber; so I'm just keeping a level head in how to approach this, as much as I want this to really work out. Maybe that way of thinking can help you out

I have a general idea on where to take this, but there's still a whole lot to do before I can get into specifics. I'm still debating on which coloring style to go with (including this one) since I have to gauge how long it'll take, which is only until I have more material, & that's until I figure this and that and aaaaa it's a process

Aaa, Iβm glad! I am taking a bit of inspiration from Animal Crossing, since itβs like one of my best bets for ideas in this kind of thing, but Iβm still doing my best to diversify with other inspirations of mine. Thanks a lot!~
